Venues
These are places to see good shows in the area. Preference will be given to DIY spaces rather than bars and stuff, but I guess I can include those kinda places too.
1919 Hemphill
1919 Hemphill is Texas' longest-running DIY space. Volunteer run since October 2002, all money received at events goes to paying rent and bills, as well as out of town performers. There is a lending book and music library, a free store and a show and movie space upstairs. We have all ages shows, movies, art shows and other events.

Center House
The cutest little punk house in Arlington, Center House is home to many a rager. Even though Rick was arrested here once, they still have way too many shows. A great place to play and a great place to stay if you're an out of town band, especially if Avery likes you.

J&J's Pizza
Denton's only really stable DIY venue, this place has been having shows for a billion years, even back when it was a Mr. Gatti's. The shows here are in the basement and upstairs is a pretty great pizza place! What could be better?

Pizza House
1919 Hemphill's irresponsible little brother. A punk house next door to 1919 that has BYOB ragers in a room that's way too small. Sometimes there are cookouts out back during the shows too.

Queen City Hall
Attached to a Queen City Tattoo in Dallas, Queen City Hall is a multipurpose space for art showings and punk shows. Very chill, always all ages and BYOB.
